Is Tamil or Hindi more common in India AND bollywood movies?
I want to go to India and I don’t know which is more common, or which is more common in Bollywood movies. Because I really enjoy Bollywood.

Hindi is a lot more commone in India as well as Bollywood Movies. Tamil is also a completely different language than Hindi so if one person knows hindi it doesnt necessarily mean that they understand tamil (which is not the case with all indian languages because some sound very similar to hindi). Movies that are made in Tamil or Telugu are Tollywood, not as popular as Bollywood
