What do you wear to The Hollywood Bowl?
Seeing Liza Minnelli and have only been to The Santa Barbra Bowl to see Sarah Brightman…people were casual…jeans and sweatshirts. Anyone have suggestions?

You should wear casual comfortable clothes since the Hollywood Bowl is an outside open air stadium. Should you buy back seating, make sure to bring a set of binoculars along for easy quick closeups of various performers. Also consider bringing along a picnic dinner ordered from The Grill in Hollywood [323-856-5530] which is shown below:

Is photography allowed during concert events at the Hollywood Bowl?
Can I take in my camera without getting it confiscated? Do they have security checks?

Every time that i’ve been to the hollywood bowl, they have allowed cameras. However, when i’ve been to the greek theatre, they allowed cameras with one performance and then did not allow cameras for another performance. They said that the it’s all up to the band’s manager and their contract. So apparently, it doesn’t really have so much to do with the venue, but rather the band itself. But again, every time i’ve been to the bowl, cameras were good.
If they don’t allow cameras, they wont take your camera, they’ll ask you to take it back to your car. You can just walk away for a minute and hide it in a pocket though…

im looking for a detailed seating chart so i know for example exactly where GARDEN BOX 1, ROW 912, SEATS 1-2 . how many rows from the stage are those seats?

Was there lots of space at the Hollywood Bowl Friday night for the Diana Krall show?
Specifically, was the rear of bleacher sections R,S and T wide open?

I would say those sections were at about half capacity.
