Your Questions About Tony Jaa

Paul asks…

Who would win in a fight,Tony Jaa or Jet Li?

I wonder what other people think.
My personal opinion-Tony jaa

Grace answers:

Maybe if they made a sequel to the movie Forbidden Kingdom we would get the answer :) Tony Jaa’s movie style martial art(s) is refreshing good and much needed for the action movie genre. His Muay Thai/Boran style gained new fans with his use of knees and elbows. On the other side there is Jet Li……..master of Wushu and Yuen Woo Ping action movies. Tony Jaa does not need wires to fly in his movies and does some the craziest stunts ever done on film. In a match up this big the fight would have to involve weapons……I would love to see Jet Li use the traditional staff vs Tony Jaa using the sticks or clubs from the Protector movie.

Jenny asks…

Would Tony Jaa kick ass in a real fight?

He has incredible Muay Boran skills and acrobatical skills but everything he does involving Muay Boran is all fight choreography. He has no actual competitive record since he learned Muay Boran specifically for stunt work in movies since he wanted to be a stuntman not a martial artist.

Just how would he do in an actual Thai kickboxing fight?

Grace answers:

He is just an actor, so he lacks experience in real fights. He might beat a man who has never trained in martial arts, but he would probably lose to many men who have much more experience in real fights. The only way to learn to really fight is to really fight. My first boyfriend was a 5′-5″, 240-290 lbs. Martial artist-powerlifter. I do not think Tony Jaa has a chance against such a man who had many real fights and won them all.

Carol asks…

i just wanted to ask, who do u think is a better fighter Bruce Lee or Tony Jaa?

I like both but i think bruce lee is a bit better for some reason. what do u think?

Grace answers:

I think bruce lee was better cause there was alot of stuff bruce lee could do physically that other peaple can’t.

Mandy asks…

what ever happened to tony jaa from ong bak,e was suppose to be the next Bruce Lee?

anybody heard anything about him lately?

Grace answers:

He is still doing stuff just nothing in the US has been too big. Heck Ong Bak 2 just came out a few months ago(not in the US though)

Charles asks…

Where can I find Tony Jaa signed memorabilia?

Or any memorabilia of his or another great martial artists, its for a present :D Trying to find some but apparently he is shy of pens…

Grace answers:

Tony Jaa’s official website is now online at http://www.iamtonyjaa.com/ which you can check out.

Although there does not seem to be any signed memorabilia on the site, there is a webboard where other users may be able to point you in the right direction.
